We are looking for a Resource Mobilization Manager

Support the Fort Hare Foundation fundraising initiatives
Support the development and implementation of fundraising strategies for the Foundation.
Contribute to the Foundation’s strategic and annual planning
Participate in planning, writing funding proposals to comply with donors/ funders guidelines and standards, paying particular attention to accountability requirements and ensuring that applications meet donor
Liaise with faculties and service departments to get information that will assist in proposal development and accountability
Accountability to the funders/ or donors
Contribute in improving the effectiveness of the Foundations’ oversight, monitoring and coordination of fundraising and reporting.
Coordinate cross-programme funding and reporting arrangements, acting as the lead person setting plans and organising meetings.
Keep the organisation up-to-date on changing donor priorities and ensure that new funding opportunities are identified and shared with teams in a timely manner.

Ensure that the events are successful

Three year (3) qualification in Marketing and / or Communication
Five (5) years experience, two (2) of which must be at management level.
Experience in stakeholder management
Proposal development experience
