Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Recruitment Officer to source candidates with the right experience and qualifications in order to match provided job profile, building a talent pool to meet future capability requirements and to ensure staffing goals are achieved in the Inland region. You will be managing the talent pool, engaging in bulk recruitment and recruitment drives to ensure the business is fully equipped with suitable and verified employees.

Duties and Responsibilities

Create and manage the Regional talent pool of front line employees as per approved recruitment process
Ensure regular interface with Operations and Sales team to ensure your temp pool is aligned with business requirements at all times
Ensure efficient and cost-effective methodologies are used for resourcing employees that are readily available for deployment along with key partnerships in the region
Pre- screening interviews ahead of the recruitment drives scheduled bi- monthly
Arrange Recruitment drives logistics and planning and ensure relevant internal support such as trainers and HR support are available for the recruitment drive to be successful and handled with all safety precautions
Gather candidate documents for relevant background checks
Facilitate the HR Induction training during the recruitment drives
Ensure that the successful candidates appointed in the Talent pool are kept upto date on opportunities as they arise in the business
Ensure adherence to internal HR Core standards regarding resourcing, selection, screening and vetting
Ensure the delivery of an excellent recruitment support to the business through provision of administrative and advisory support throughout the recruitment process
Meet and greet candidates on day of interview, as required and ensure that fingerprint is captured
Assist in coordinating any recruitment initiatives in relation to the Talent pool process
Upload and update candidate’s CV’s, information and documents on Neptune
Providing horizontal support to the HR community initiatives that the organisation
Be an intergral partner with HR and Operations to ensure smooth deployment of successful candidates are deployed
Ensure the employee information is channelled timeously to the Compensation and Benefits team

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications

Minimum 1 – 2 years recruitment experience in a large organization with Bulk recruitment of employees
Must have a Matric
Tertiary qualification or equivalent qualification in Human Resources Management/Industrial or Organizational Psychology
Must have drivers license and willing to travel regionally
