The purpose of this position is to equip staff with the knowledge and practical skills to carry out work-related tasks, and to help with the ongoing, long-term improvement of employees' skills to enable them to fulfil their potential within the Plant.
Responsibilities
- Design and expand training and development programs
- Produce / develop training materials for in-house courses
- Facilitate training courses as well as on-the-job training in the plant
- Ensure that statutory training requirements are met
- Monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions
- Manage the delivery of training and development programs
- Amend and revise programs as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the plant
Qualifications and Exprience
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Certificate in Training & Development
- Assessors Certificate
- Moderators Certificate
- A valid Trade Certificate in a Mechanical / - Electrical Engineering discipline
