Specific Outputs Collected and reported competitor information; implemented sales and promotional plan and objectives.
Negotiated and managed purchase price, price points, shelf space and opportunities.
Managed supply and merchandising service levels; visited and supported customers (relationship building) Controlled debtors, product returns & pallets.
Administered sales documents & reports esp. deals & credit notes and promotional spend.
Required Experience 4-5 years relevant sales experience Sales experience in the grains milling industry will be preferred
National Tertiary Diploma in Marketing will be an advantage
Primary Objectives of the Position Represents and sells the organisation's goods and/or services to retailers, industrial customers and institutions by visiting and obtaining orders.
Negotiating sales deals with customers. Keeps his/her immediate supervisor informed of competitor activity and customer status.
Normally reports to a Unit HOD. Knowledge and as well as a clear understanding and insight into the wheat milling industry is important.
Sales of wheaten products and visits to potential customers will be part of job output and evaluated against targets.
