CPUT Departmental Secretary (Internal Applicants Only)

  • Correspondence (departmental emails, letters to staff)
  • Secretarial Support (diary management, setting up meetings, compiling agendas, taking minutes)
  • Administration (ranging from administration of examinations, correspondence, time tables, handling of tests/examination scripts, processing of application forms)
  • Database Administration (collate information for inputting on the system, check data for correctness, update data on regular basis)
  • Department liaison (liaising with Heads of Departments, Dean, support departments/units)
  • Records administration (organising, filing, and retrieving records)
  • General office operations (ordering stationery and equipment, maintaining stock)
  • Team/Department Support (attend to student and staff queries related to the department, participate in department activities such as registration and graduations)
